Computer keyboard trays are a nice way to store your keyboard while furthermore clearing up desk room. 1 Remove the desk drawer away from the rails.
2 Lower off the front of the drawer.
3 Drill a hole through the back of the drawer. This is everywhere you will run the keyboard wire. The hole should be large enough with the cable grommet to fit in snugly into the hole.
4 Install the cable grommet. Push the grommet housing into the hole and the plastic ridges should store the grommet with place. Place the grommet cap on the top of the grommet.
5 Add hinges to the drawer front. If you desire to preserve the drawer front to hide the keyboard when not inside use, screw in dual small cabinet latches on the within bottom about the drawer and connect it to the within front of the drawer.
6 Mark the cabinet catches. Bench mark where you will put the roller end of the cabinet catches. Mark a spot on the inside regarding the drawer on either the correct also remaining sides toward the top about the drawer, opposite the hinge.
7 Put in the cupboard catches. Using the supplied screws, screw the roller to the inside of the drawer where you made your marks.
8 Near the cabinet front and mark everywhere the roller end touches the inside about the cabinet.
11 Place the drawer back on the rails and slide to the desk. To employ the keyboard, pull down the drawer the front, also glide the drawer out.
