Introduction

This mod allows you to have an extra 12v power point for your console without acctually draining from the console itself.

The Mod

I have three items for you to look into before anyone else try's to add some items to there DVD Drive connector.

[12V/1000mA AC-to-DC Power Adapter][1]

[Size M Panel-mount Coaxial DC Power Jack][2]

When you purchase the 12V AC-to-DC Power Adapter you get to choose a FREE TIP. Grab a Size M tip for the Power Adapter. With these three items combined you can solder all your 12V items within the xbox360 to the Size M Panel-mount Coaxial DC Power Jack which has the positive and negative posts and run everything off your wall outlet, eliminating any strain that might occur by sucking power from the DVD Drive. The most ideal spot to mount this is above the current xbox 360 power connector. Just remove a square of metal shielding and drill through your plastic case and mount that connector.
